Charan's Peddi Pushed to June: Quality Over Quick Release, Says Team

Ram Charan's ambitious pan-India venture Peddi will not meet its originally planned April 30 release date, with the team officially announcing a shift to June to allow for enhanced post-production work.

The decision comes even as the makers express complete satisfaction with the film's current state. With talkie portions wrapped and only a special song remaining to be shot, director Buchi Babu Sana and producer Venkata Satish Kilaru have reviewed the rushes and found themselves impressed with what they've captured.

However, their confidence in the material has led them to take an interesting strategic call: giving their technical departments additional time to elevate every aspect of the film. This isn't about fixing problems; it's about maximizing potential. The team believes Peddi's scale and content deserve meticulous refinement across visual effects, sound design, and overall finishing.

This approach reflects a growing maturity in Telugu cinema's production philosophy. Rather than rushing to meet arbitrary deadlines, producers are increasingly willing to prioritize quality over quick turnarounds, especially for big-ticket projects targeting pan-India audiences.

The film has already generated significant buzz through its promotional content. Charan's contrasting avatars in the two released glimpses, particularly his birthday special glimpse, have resonated strongly with audiences nationwide.
