What started as a historical drama featuring the Natasimha in a dual role has now pivoted to become a contemporary gangster story: and this shift is creating ripple effects across the cast.

The most significant casualty of this script overhaul appears to be Nayanthara's involvement. The Lady Superstar was initially locked for what was reportedly a powerful, queen-like character that would have justified both her star presence and premium remuneration. Given their successful track record in Simha, Sri Rama Rajyam, and Jai Simha, fans were naturally excited about this fourth collaboration.

But here's where industry pragmatism kicks in. With the story now reimagined as a gangster drama, the female lead's scope has apparently diminished considerably.
