Director Nitesh Tiwari is making some bold creative choices with his ambitious Ramayana adaptation, and the latest revelation about the film's opening sequence has the industry buzzing. Instead of the conventional approach of beginning with Rama's birth or childhood, this magnum opus will launch straight into Ravana's conquest: specifically his war against his step-brother Kubera for control of Lanka.

This opening gambit is inspired filmmaking. By starting with Yash's Ravana declaring war on Kubera and his pursuit to Alakapuri near Kailash Parvat, Tiwari establishes the epic's scale from minute one. The sequence will showcase how Ravana not only seized Lanka but also acquired the legendary Pushpak Vimana, cementing his reputation as an invincible force. It's a calculated move to present Ravana not merely as a villain but as the accomplished scholar, warrior, and Shiva devotee that he was in the original epic.
